About PolyBox
PolyBox CMS is a project started many years ago to build a custom, and at the time, PHP based CMS for a few small websites and stores. It served a useful purpose but as it was written in PHP it soon became more trouble than it was worth to maintain.
In it's current incarnation, PolyBox is written in Python and can be used as either a dynamic website base using Flask etc., or a static site generator with all the benefits of the dynamic version, as well as the ability to build a site from a tree of markdown files.
This documentation site was generated using PolyBox as a static site, using the Atomic theme lovingly based on some of the ideas from Atom/GitHub's Documentation Site. Nice one GitHub!
